Yes with any injectable treatment there are side effects, at Clinic 22 our priority is to make sure you are fully informed of any risks and to make sure you have the safest treatment possible reducing any possible side effects. The most common side effects people experience are swelling and bruising theses tend to subside over a few days. There are more serious risks like blood  vessels being blocked by the filler that fortunately are rare, these will be discussed with you at your appointment. Yes, we will fully assess your current lips and lip filler at your appointment and make a treatment plan for you. If there are any issues for example, lumps of old filler, filler migration (the filler has moved into an area we don’t want it) or you have to much filler we may suggest dissolving your old filler treatment before re treating.
