What to Expect
Here’s how your appointment will work:
Professional Assessment: Your mole or lesion will be examined by one of our highly trained medical professionals using digital photo-dermoscopy – basically, a super-detailed camera that gives us a clear look at what’s going on beneath the surface of your skin.
Risk Scoring: We’ll then run your images through a powerful risk-scoring tool. It’s not a diagnosis, but it does help us identify whether your mole is likely to be low, medium, or high risk.
Dermatology Referral if Needed: If anything looks suspicious, or your result comes back as medium or high risk, we’ll recommend a referral to our trusted online dermatology service. They usually review cases and respond with a second opinion within 24 hours.
Follow-Up Support: You’ll get a full report, and if anything further is needed – like a biopsy or specialist care – we can refer you privately or give you everything you need to take to your GP for an NHS referral.
